1. Day 1: High up in the trees at Mendexa Abentura Park

To kick off the weekend, there is nothing better than getting lost in the heights of our forest. At Mendexa Abentura Park, the circuits designed among the pine trees offer different challenges for all ages and levels. Zip lines, suspension bridges, lianas, and balancing games are waiting for you. Experiencing the thrill and sharing some laughs with family or friends is the ideal way to enjoy yourself.

After finishing the circuits, you will surely work up an appetite. Very close to the park is the port of Lekeitio, ideal for regaining strength with some delicious pintxos, or Karraspio beach if you just want to rest.

2. Day 2: Urdaibai estuary descent with UR Urdaibai

After the treetop adventure, the next day it’s time to jump into the water. Barely half an hour away is the wonderful Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. There, the star plan is to descend the estuary in a canoe.

For this experience, we highly recommend doing it with the reference center UR Urdaibai. They organize departures based on the tides (to go with the current during high or low tide), and the descent offers a spectacular route from Arteaga to Laida beach, or vice versa.
